Definitely not a cream...
I had no experience with lanolin but wanted to try it, so I ordered this. I was surprised to find that it is like SUPER thick, SUPER sticky Vaseline. The lady who says she uses it as a face lotion simply must be speaking of a different product. That being said, it is wonderful in very specific applications where one might normally use a medicated ointment or something. I work with a lot of paper for work; and on the weekends do a lot of gardening & outdoor things. My hand get really dry and my nails certainly 'cop' it. I love the lanolin. It brings my hands back to being hydrated and feeling great like to no other product does. No complaints about the product. It comes in a plastic jar. The lanolin is yellowish color and very thick and sticky. Works well for softening skin. A little goes a long way. I have very dry feet. Applied Lanolin to feet at bedtime and covered in cotton socks. In 3 nights, my soles are renewed! I think once or twice a week will be good upkeep.
