I usually use valerian extract for sleep, but the passion flower was on sale so wanted to try it. No way of knowing the strength.
I've purchased several brands of Passion Flower extract (alcohol free) and each has the milligram (mg) amount on the supplement detail label. Since I've been very pleased with the 1100 mg Piping Rock Passion Flower capsules I was excited to see 2,000, on Piping Rock's version which is the strength I was looking for. However, upon arrival I saw the label on the bottle said 2 ml (Milliliter) so I went to the website again and saw it was listed 2,000 ml, neither listed as milligrams (mg) as all others I've found. (the website has since been changed to match the bottle's info). I contacted Piping Rock customer support twice (first representative, through email, was very gracious. The second rep, by phone, seemed she could care less). Neither were able to give me the the milligram strength. They reported that management said it was proprietary information. So, because I am dealing with severe physical issues causing a need for high strength extract, I am returning the product. It's a shame.
